| The recent rains have made the plants, trees, shrubs surrounding our home and woods full, green, and flowering. There is no flooding, and the ground still absorbs quickly where we are, but all seems healthy. We are noticing peach drop possibly from lots of rain after last and early this year's drought. |

If we don't get some rain soon I believe we will fall back to the 'Madly Dry" category. Plants in this area still look good but field grass is growing more slowly. This dry spell has helped the harvest of straw/hay. The natural spring near me has slowed quite a bit. Our mountain elevation provides cool air temperatures thus promoting tourism. |

| West Central Texas is moving from varying degrees of drought to moderately wet conditions dues to recent rains. The rain has allowed me to not irrigate my lawn and has filled local creeks. |
